My

Story

I graduated with a graphic design degree from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. I worked in graphic design studios and taught art for ten years but it was always my dream to be an artist. For six years, I taught yoga and committed to creating a painting a week. Little did I know, sharing copies of my art with my yoga students would be the spark that fanned the flame for my fine art career.

In 2016, I painted 78 paintings that became the White Sage Tarot deck. A deck filled with whimsical animals with human characteristics in the form of traditional watercolor. Since then, I have designed and written five decks, all published by US Games Systems Inc.

I currently work in a full-time art studio, 215 in the Casket Arts Building in Minneapolis. My art has, once again, shifted now that I have space for larger compositions.

Paintings filled with jewel-tones now grace my walls and are inspired by my travels. They include brilliant women, beautiful cats and under-represented animals such as squirrels, pigeons and badgers.
